This is where you can see all of your WordPress tools.

Sidebar Widget

This is an example of a Sidebar Text Widget, where you can add text or HTML.

In the Sidebar you can WordPress Widgets such as: a monthly Archive of your site's posts, a Calendar of your site's posts, a list of Categories on your site, a Custom Menu, a list of Pages, Recent Comments, Recent Posts, an RSS feed, a Search form, a Slideshow, a list of Most Used Tags, etc.
There are many, many WordPress Widgets to choose from.
